CITY BACKGROUND
Tarlac is situated in the heartland of Luzon's rich central plain. It is
particularly equidistant from two (2) cities: Manila, 125 kms. and Baguio, 127
kms. It is traversed by Mac Arthur Highway.
Tarlac has a population of 230,459 based on the 1995 census. In this total
population, 42.74% are in the age bracket of 65 years old and above and is
predominantly 81.57% Roman Catholic in religion. Followed by Iglesia ni Cristo
then Aglipayans.
There are about 791 industrial establishments in the city. Most of them are in
food manufacturing and processing (17.07%). The increase of industrial
establishments in Tarlac is high because the municipality is at the center of
commerce and trade within the province.
There are also about 5,073 commercial establishments which comprise the
different forms of services, trading, dealers, banks and exporters. Sari-sari
stores contribute the highest number of commercial establishments.
SITE HIGHLIGHTS
The size of the project is 5.6 hectares. It takes pride of its good location
along Mac Arthur Highway (National Road going to Baguio and other major points
of Northern Luzon). The project is located at Brgy. San Miguel right in front
of the parish church, just one (1) km away from the heart of Tarlac City.
Approximately 300 meters from the park is the commercial area of San Miguel
which include major establishments including the famous Luisita Mall, several
restaurants and food chains and a number of commercial banks. Viewed from the
comfortable seats of public utility buses and private vehicles passing by the
highway, Mt. Zion Tarlac will provide a scenic panorama of fresh green
shrubbery to travelers going to and pro Northern Luzon.
