CITY BACKGROUND
The municipality of SAN LEONARDO is situated 105 kilometers East of Manila, traversed by the Maharlika Highway (National Road) going to Cagayan Valley. It is bounded by five municipalities namely, Sta. Rosa on the North, General Tinio on the East, Peñaranda on the Southeast, Gapan on the South and Jaen on the East.

The municipality has a population of 46,545 in the latest (1995) NSO survey or an annual population growth rate of 3.42% (1990 vs. 1995). It is projected to have reached 53,958 in the year 2000. The population is predominantly Catholic compromising 93.22% while in Iglesia ni Cristo and others are 3.7% and 1% respectively.

Industrial activities play a vital role in the development and progress of the municipality. A number of industrial establishments can be found in San Leonardo. These establishments consist of 98 ricemills, 63 poultry/ piggery and 47 slippers making factories.

SITE HIGHLIGHTS
The municipality of San Leonardo is less than 8 kilometers away from Gapan. Situated along Maharlika Highway, the5.8 hectare of land along the Diversion Road in Brgy. Mambangan provides a good access to its patrons. This area enjoys the competitive advantage of being at the center of five municipalities. The site is an old resort with a clubhouse and swimming pool.
