Philam Asset Management, Inc. (PAMI) is a fund management company wholly owned by Philamlife and a member company of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), which operates in over 130 countries and jurisdictions around the world. The following are the funds that PAMI manages: Philam Bond Fund, Inc. (PBFI) is a conservative fund invested purely on fixed-income instruments. PBFI was launched last June 1997. This fund yielded 12.28% net last year. Philam Dollar Bond Fund, Inc. (PDBFI) is a dollar denominated conservative fund investing on dollar fixed-income instruments. It is the first dollar mutual fund in the country. It yielded 8.34% net last year. Philam Fund, Inc. (PFI) is a complete and balanced portfolio of high yielding fixed income instruments and equities. The Fund was launched in September 1993. This fund has a moderate risk profile. It has consistently outperformed its benchmarks since launch. Last year, it yielded 14.78% net. Philam Strategic Growth Fund, Inc. (PSGFI) is an aggressive fund which aims for capital growth with returns and inflows derived from investments in equity securities. The fund was launched in 1998. This fund is for investors who want to take advantage of the opportunities in the stock market. Last year, it yielded 15.19% net. GSIS Kinabukasan Fund, Inc. (GSIS) is a diversified growth and income mutual fund whose portfolio is invested in a broad range of blue-chip stocks and government securities seeking long term capital appreciation together with the income for its shareholders. It was formerly managed by the Worldwide Investment Management Company of the Philippines, Inc. (Winvest) and it was only on May of 2003 that PAMI took over as fund manager. Last year, it yielded 13.85% net.
